My instrumental cover of "Canal Grande", a marvellous piece by the "Rondò Veneziano" Italian chamber orchestra; it specialized in Baroque music, playing original instruments, but incorporating a rock-style rhythm section of synthesizer, bass guitar and drums. It was led by Maestro Gian Piero Reverberi, who is also the principal composer of all of the original "Rondò Veneziano" pieces.

I recorded it at home, using my Yamaha Genos arranger, MODX7+ synthesizer and Dexibell VIVO SX8 sound module.
In order to play it better, I prepared:
- a custom song style for my Yamaha Genos arranger;
- a Genos registration bank using that style;
- a chord looper bank used only by Registration 8 (at the end of the piece I played simultaneously strings and oboe parts and so I couldn't play chords);
Moreover, I prepared a custom MODX7+ performance, recalling both internal and Dexibell tones.
And finally... I could play this beautiful piece!

I really liked the piece because it has a slow tempo. I would be very interested in the sheet music. Would you share it?

Hi Ferdinando,

I'm not familiar with this piece at all, but as usual, well played and arranged!

Also, it looks like you'd have been at home on an Electone; have you seen a StageA?
