Next, search for EQ CHEAT SHEET on Google or other Search engine. I can't recommend one with a link because most of these sites want your email address.
YouTube is also good for some of this stuff anyway.

The audio mixer is another issue. You don't mention what mixer/PA you are using and I don't know the PSR SX 900, but my old Tyros seemed to be bass heavy on many styles regardless of global settings.(Some tunes you may want a lot of bass, I know). So, on your mixer ease off the bass for that channel. Often a simple increase for all mixer channels on the Mids (mid tones) will make for a clean sound. I assume you are using a vocalist? Spend time on getting the vocal EQ right - use your ears.
When you perform ask a good friend to listen to your output and report back. All venues are different and, unlike big concerts with sound engineers, you may not have the opportunity to do a sound check before you start. Besides it's always different in an empty room or with a full audience. Audio recording your band is also a good idea and do this with a feed from your mixer.

Found a cheat sheet for you with detailed explanation. It's about mixing and frequencies in a studio/home studio setting but the basics are there for your mixer -what to  boost/what to cut etc
