Multi Recording Setup?

When I hit the RECORDING button, then hit "Multi Recording" on the touch screen, and then hit the red record button at the bottom left of the display, all 16 channels have a red "Rec" button.

I only want to record Right1, Right2 and Right3, so I have to tap all 13 "Rec" buttons for the other channels to turn recording off for them.

I tried creating a song set up this way, but the setup didn't seem to become part of the song, and when I loaded the song, it was still set up the default way. I went through Setup/Execute, but it didn't help.

It's a minor pain to have to keep doing this every time. Is there a way to set this up somehow so that I can just recall the setup?

On 1 and 2   just record one  note in each track and save as template
