Hi
All of this time i have had the Genos  keyboard it has been a fight to get control of the sax growl and the bend up.
I have found it to be hit and miss.
If you play the sax and hold the key before the next one you a nice trill which always works.
When you play and hit a C and want it to bend up it works with a certain amount of pressure on key but does not always
work, which can be a little frustrating when you have got half way through a recording.
Is there a sure way to get it to work every time when you hit the right keys in the scale.
With the sax growl, It is great when you want it but again frustrating when you do not.
I have tried the soft ,hard 1 & 2 , but there is not a great deal of difference in that.
When trying to make a bend up on the sax I have tried soft and  harder and tried sliding my fingers on the key. All little funny key press quirks as well. I have not jumped on it yet!!!
Sometimes it works every time and other misses a few.
Is there a fool proof way of getting a bend up on the sax live play that is consistent and alter the growl in a setting somewhere.
The growl on the sax does not need too much pressure on key to activate especially if you have trigger finger lol ;D  ;D  ;D
I do think using the joystick makes the sax sound unreal on bends.

I would like to see quick edit last as now I cannot correct my thread spelling as it has disappeared.
A few tries and it has gone.

All the Best

Hi
Oh No !!!

I have had one of my Blond moments  as concentrating on Cubase too much lately
The bend solved by Articulation on foot pedal.
I just have to solve unwanted growl ;D  ;D

John,

I have found that the growl is controllable by how hard and quick you play the note. I will admit this did take some getting used to, but once you hit it consistently it will never fail. I have had my Genos 4 years now and I am still discovering things it can do all by how quick and hard you hit the keys for a lot of instruments, not just the sax.
Most of the nuances of these keyboards take time to master. Practice practice practice!  ;D

Agreed! Actually I found it easyer on my old PSR-2100. It has the best growl sax.
