Hello folks,
I ran across this forum quite by chance, while searching www for some info on PSR and Genos. Wow, what a resource this forum seems to be... I think I found the Holy Grail.

New owner here of PSR SX920. In my search for a program/app to allow changes to files, it looks that YRM will do all I would like and more. Problem (that I probably should find where to post this), is after DL version 5, then downloading the updated ver 5.3, I do not understand the exact procedure to replace the old file with the new. Too many years ago, I could easily have done command prompt files, but at 79, I don't know.

So fellow Yamaha players, where can I find the answer? Would like very much to have 5.3 up and running.

I look forward to not only learning here, but at some point, I hope to be able to contribute, as well.

Find your installation of YRM, the ReadMe.pdf shows it's location. After you've unzipped the 5.3 Update, copy those files and paste them into the YRM installation folder, overwriting any when prompted.

Looks like I have 5.3 installed. I'm not even sure how, unless the files were unzipped as I downloaded them.
 I have a Win10 Pro replacement PC, and I don't even know if there is an un-zip program on it. I sure didn't click anything to unzip files, and I haven't copied/pasted anything. Yet it appears that the YRM opens and may work when it reads a USB stick with the files on it. Haven't got that far... probably tomorrow. So for now, Thanks.
