Foot Pedals on the SX700

Greetings:

Could someone explain to me step by step how to assign one of my foot pedals to the transpose feature. I am lousy at Transposing, so I would like to use the foot pedal to transpose up or down the full range each time I press the pedal so I do not have to take my hands off the keyboard to transpose. Thank you.

select the foot pedal on the assignable page, should be two available. Press the feature and you will get a menu where you can select the Category 'Overall' and the Function 'Transpose +' or down.  AFAIK you can only go one direction, but you can save it in two registrations to go 'up' or 'down'.
