Greetings:

I am a 79yrs old new owner of the PSR SX700. I am in no way a professional piano player nor do I play in GIGS. I have been playing by EAR since I was 5 years old - listening to my father and grandfather playing some of the pieces of the Great Masters. I play only in my home for my wife and my family listening pleasure. I have to listen to the music until it resonates within me - and I can then hear it and then see myself playing the particular song in my inner vision. I am however lousy at "Transposing", so that is why I like to get keyboards that have the transpose feature. I know its not good to have it, but as I said, I only play for my family at home. I am working on improving my transpose issues (LOL) - I use to be stuck playing in F sharp when I was younger and then gradually I have forgotten much of how to play in F sharp; now stuck in the "C" chords range. I have the PSR510, I have the YPG235, and now the SX700. The questions I will be asking from time to time in the particular forum sections will be how to use certain functions on the SX700. Please bear with me when and if you see my questions and you would like to assist me. I like step by step instructions. So this is my introduction of "ME". With Kind Regards

Alex Mercer
