Hi All
Is there an easy way of saving a style that I've edited in just a small way, without going into Style Creator ?? I know I can save it within a Registration but would just like to save it as an individual, amended style, maybe to use in the future.
Thanks

hi,
In a small way?... What can be smaller than open the Style Creator and touch that Save icon on top of the screen?

Hi wmidsgw,

If you have only changed the OTS of a style (Keyboard parts), you do not have to go to the Style Creator, you can simply re-save the style directly in the Style Selection display. However, if you made changes to the Style parts in the Mixer, you need to go to the Style Creator and save there.

By the way, if you first open the Mixer, edit Style Parts there and then open the Style Creator, these changes always automatically apply to all Style Sections.

To change the Mixer settings for only a specific Style Section, you would have to do the following:

- First open the Style Creator and select the desired Style Section (e.g. the BREAK).

- THEN open the Mixer. Since the Assignable buttons in the Style Creator unfortunately don't work, you have to open the Mixer on the Genos1 via "Direct Access > Intro 2" ("Direct Access > Main A" on the Genos2).

- After making the changes in the Mixer for the current Style Section, press EXIT to return to the Style Creator and re-save the style there.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Bogdan
Thanks for that....as you say 'what could be simpler'.
Never having used the Style Creator, I imagined there would be more to it. I seem to remember years ago, Tyros 4, there was a way without using the Style Creator to save an amended style but just couldn't remember..... it certainly wouldn't have been any quicker.
Thanks again
Gordon

Hi Chris, thankyou for your indepth response. It really is appreciated together with your time.

Thanks for your feedback, Gordon!

With the Tyros4 it was the same as I described above: If you only changed the OTS settings of a style, you can re-save the style directly in the Style Selection display. For everything else you have to go to the Style Creator (on the Tyros4 via the "Digital Recording" button) and save there.

Best regards,
Chris
