I have psr 950 and I'm helping a new user to the 463 get going ( remotely over the phone ).  Blind leading the Blind !!!

#1  On the voice selection, am I correct in OTS being enabled by the voice being set to 000

#2 another friend has a 473 and I would like to know how many styles can be loaded onto it ( the 463 has room for 10 styles )

Thanks Hayseed

Hi Hayseed,

Yes, selecting Voice Number 000 automatically calls up the most suitable Voice and panel setups for the current Style, Song or Groove. This function is called
OTS.

In addition, here is a quote from E463 Owner's Manual, page 51:

Calling Up Optimum Panel Settings - One Touch Setting (OTS)

Select a Song, Style or Groove by pressing the
[SONG], [STYLE] or [GROOVE CREATOR] button,
and then select Voice number 000 OTS (page 20).
This lets you automatically call up the optimum panel
settings such as Voice and tempo for the current
    Song, Style or Groove.

The E473 also only allows a maximum of 10 external styles to be loaded. Quote from E473 User Manual, page 59:

Loading User Data from a USB Flash Drive

Style Data
Style files (.sty) created externally can be imported
into Styles 291 to 300 and used in the same way as
    built-in Styles.

Chris
