Controlling the Volume of a Midi File

Hi all

I've recently been experimenting with some of Juuls excellent Midi files on my SX700, and playing a two handed backing melody at the same time.

I don't have any problem keeping up with the tracks I choose, or with the chords, key signature or variations of what I'm playing myself to enhance the midi song.

But 2 questions.

How can I reduce the volume of the midi track so that my melody is of an equal volume. At the moment the midi track is much louder, and I'm having to use voices like Shadows Guitar to even hear it on top of the midi.
The SX only has one volume control, so as I dial it up, BOTH get louder... I want to quieten the midi track.

Secondly... Having done that (if it's possible), how can I then record the result as either WAV or MP3.

Thanks for any advice.
Enjoy your playing.

hi Keith,
You can adjust the volume of the midi track in Mixer (PANEL tab)

Yes, you can record midi+your playing as audio file:
1. Load midi file. On panel (PLAYER - MIDI) press |<< (rewind) button before recording (to ensure that midi will start playing from beginning)
2. Press RECORDING button and then choose Audio Quick Recording.
3. Touch Play/Pause to start recording and then press MIDI >/|| (play) button on panel.
4. Play along midi background music.

Thanks Bogdan

Very helpful, and I'll have a study of this next weekend.
Much appreciated.
