Genos 2 and songbook + IPAD Problem

Hello dear music lovers,

I have updated to Genos 2 since last Friday. Everything works fine except for my music program songbook +.

Midi settings are all ok, a connected expander receives the midi signal via MD-BT01, i.e. the Yamaha adapter. MIDI settings in Genos are all ok.
But:
The blue tooth adapter is displayed in the songbook+, but cannot be connected.

Ipad pro 12" operating system 17.3.1 songbook has version V 6.2.5

After a long time of trying, I came up with the idea of connecting my iPad Air. It also has version 17.3.1. It works. I think I have exactly the same settings.

Does a specialist have an idea? I am very grateful for suggestions. Of course this also works with the IPAD AIR. My 83-year-old eyes are no longer quite as efficient.

I also have Ipad pro and Genos2 and have no problems when connected via wifi (not bluetooth).

Thank you for the feedback. I have now learned that there are sometimes problems. So I'll just wait until a solution comes up. I have now connected my IPAD AIR for the next two performances and am mirroring it onto an existing 15" monitor. My grades are of course significantly larger, which also has its advantages. Maybe I'll leave it like that. The IPAD is wrong and will only used to display music is controlled by the Genos 2

Hi Siegfried

Just a couple of things to try:

Shut down the I pad Air completely or turn off Bluetooth on it.
Now connect the MT01 ADAPTOR and the IPad Pro. Make sure it connects correctly, sometimes it might show up "OffLine" instead of "Connected"

Thank you Bill for your reply. Yes I tried that before but with no result. But in the meantime iI wait.. I heard yesterday that there are really problems with bluetooth with Ipad Pro and Genos 2. Yamaha in Germany is connected. They see the problems and send it to Japan.

Hello dear music lovers,

Everything is ok now and I've been enjoying the great sounds of the Genos 2 more and more since last Saturday.

Since I only live 30 km away from my dealer Frank Steinbrecher, I drove to him.

He immediately noticed that the Midi Master wasn't working properly. An update helped, both the operating system and songbook plus were connected. At home I realized that I hadn't tried out my registrations. When I was trying it out, I had both Midiserver and Midiclient open in the songbook. Typical haphazard action when you don't think. Shame on me. Now it works as it should.

Frank took this opportunity to quickly fill my new YEM with my extra data; he had already loaded the Yamaha content.

My Yammex V3 was also causing problems, Frank quickly noticed that the addressing had changed and he changed that.

We need such great dealers, they make playing even more fun.
