Just upgraded from SX700, have been well pleased with its performance, but after listening to an SX900 which certainly ticked all the boxes on sound quality and extra features, I decided on. To add extra dynamic range to the overall sound, I purchased a Yamaha sub to complement the lower audio range.
I'm very pleased having made this switch. 🙂

The extra expansion on the SX900 is important for me. What was it about the sound that you thought was an improvement over the SX700? Specific instruments or just overall sound quality?

Thanks, It's a great keyboard, just in the process of reinstalling my styles collection, for some unknown reason a few have got mixed up! But I'll get it sorted. Sounds great. Regards Dupe

The keyboard feels much smoother and less clunky, the sound generally is more dynamic. With the addition of the sub has made the lower end and bass much richer, but that's as expected of course. I'm interested in its Bluetooth facility. Generally gives the impression of an overall improvement, and a worthwhile upgrade for me, that's not to say the SX700 didn't make the mark, I had been very happy with it. This one is likened to the Geno's models.

Congrats on the upgrade, you will loads of fun with it. I have all 3 of the SX keyboards in the series and I really enjoy playing on them, they all offer something different.

Thanks for your comments, I'm still very much a novice having given up playing nearly 20yrs ago, due to losing the use of my right arm wrist and fingers. It was only within the last couple of years I got back to playing. The SX700 helped me get by! And now the SX900 with its added features etc has furthered my playing ability.  :)

I'm in my third year of 900 ownership and I'm still discovering new things about it.  It's a fabulous instrument, you'll love yours.
