I can change the size of the score but after saving it does not remember it. I make the score XL and then go to multi record and then to setup, the score is neatly checked and I save the midi. And when I open it and turn the score back on, it is no longer XL...

I have the same problem with the score when i save them on channel 4 (right hand) an return after all save to a nother midi whit richt hand on channel 2. That the one i saved whit channel 4 is lost..

Hi Flupke,

To save the current Score settings to the MIDI file, do the following:

- Go to MIDI Multi Recording and touch the SONG STOP button there to make sure the song is at the beginning (time position "001.1").

- Touch the "Setup" icon. Make sure the top 7 checkboxes (Voice to EQ) and the "Score Setting" checkbox are ticked.

- Touch "Execute" button to write the current settings into the song.

- Touch "Close" button to close the Setup screen.

- Touch "Save" icon to re-save the MIDI file.

The score settings should now be in the MIDI file and will be automatically restored when loading later. Also see the attached screenshot.

By the way, if you are working with registrations, please make sure that the previously edited MIDI file is actually called by the registration in question.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Flupke,

According to the Genos2 Data List ("Parameter Chart" tab), the parameters set in the Score display under "Detail Setting" (gear icon) (including "Right Channel" and "Left Channel") are saved to the current MIDI file in the way I described if, as mentioned, the "Score Setting" checkbox is ticked in the Setup display. When you later call up this MIDI file, the channel assignment should be correct again.

Please note: In the Genos2 Reference Manual on page 72 there is the following note for the parameters "Right Ch" and "Left Ch" in the Score Detail settings: "This setting returns to "Auto" when a different Song is selected."

I understand this as follows: If these Score Detail settings have not yet been saved in a MIDI file, the "Auto" setting applies again and the channels specified in "Menu > Song Setting > Part Ch" are used.

Please also see the attached screenshot (from Genos2 Reference Manual, page 72).

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
