Is it TRUE? Genos1 Regs will not play same styles/sounds in Genos2

I'm on the fence about Genos2 purchase because it appears that my customized Genos1 registrations/songs (400+) will need to be completely reworked in Genos2 in order to get the same styles/sounds?  Is this TRUE?

My hope was to keep exiting Genos1 registrations/songs and create new songs in Genos2 taking advantage of new sounds and styles.  Don't get me wrong, I love to create and play with new registrations, but as a professional solo performing artist (Genos1/vocalist) with a busy performance schedule I don't have the time rework hundreds of registrations.     :-\

I can only give you my experience with this.
All my Registrations transferred perfectly from my Genos1 and are working with no problem. I do however use a lot of third party styles and have always made a point of saving these to a folder with either the name of the song or a number that corresponds to the registration. This way if any style link was broken it was always easy to find the style and relink it. I also saved all my Genos1 styles before I sold it thus covering any problem of the style no loner being on Genos2.
I then saved all the content of my user section by following advice from a Yamaha friend and that is to link up your Genos to your computer and Copy content to this.
If you have less than 15Gb of content then you can just copy this from computer back to your Genos2. If you have more content than this then Just copy this to a larger USB stick and place in the compartment under the Genos and use from there. I use a 64Gb and fing it plenty big enough for my use.

Almost all of your registrations will sound at least as good as on your G1. Line Eileen says, make sure you copy your G1 styles in case one is missing on the G2.

You will likely find a few that you don't like the sound of, and those you'll have to rework.
