This might work for you . . . . . you can create Genos registrations that do exactly what you need to do (change instruments, tempo, etc.   Genos has up to 10 different registrations.   And then you can control the registrations using a foot pedal and the Genos sequencer . . . . .

That means that you do not need to reach anything, just change to different registrations with the foot pedal when you need to . . . . .

Sorry, if this was suggested already,   too many responses to ready them all . . . . . . . . . .

Hope you find something to satisfy your needs . . . .

have a great day

I don't know if this exact scenario was suggested already, but if so, I didn't get it. I know you can program sequences with the foot pedal, but can you jump around freely or do you have to program it out? I don't know if my leg and foot would be able to manage all this activity (I have severe problems with my lower body, too), but that might work. Like I said before, I tried using controllers but was never able to do this kind of fine tuning. It is definitely something to consider. Thank you.

Maybe try the SX970 if i remember the model no correct. It's practically a Genos with Speakers and a MoDX keybed. I know your struggles. After a blod cloth I struggle with the left hand especially on my Korg Kronos 73 with Graded Hammer touch. I love my new Genos 2. I didn't like the aftertouch in my Genos that much even it should be the same FSX keybed in both, but somehow the Genos seemed to have a delay on initial touch before you were able to use aftertouch. Seems much better in the Genos 2. I'm not personly impressed with the short keys in the SX line or Modx, they simply feel way too cheap to play on, but we are all different. Hope you find a solution

Thank you. I'm sorry for your pain and struggles too. I am working with all suggestions and trying to figure out HOW to play the G2 with the least amount of pain since I don't see any other better option for this kind of instrument My Roland Fantom 08 and Casio Privia ox s6000 are better keybeds, though I don't like the shortness of the Casio keys because the black keys are harder to play. But neither have the Genos sounds. I guess it's just about adapting and observing what is causing the pain. I'm realizing that a lot of the problem is the reaching and buttons and so I'm trying different solutions. Thank you for writing and best to you, too.

Thanks for letting me vent. Hugs to you.

Hugs to you, actually. One of my piano playing colleagues had to give it up due to that kind of pain. It was a big part of her life, too.

Hang in there, Beth! We'll answer questions best as we can -- pj

I know, and it makes me cry to feel the support. In fact, I'm going to start a new thread for a thank you.
