After performing multiple times on stage with the genos2, i've foynd multiple issues with hickups.
On genos1 I had this sometime while playing audio styles and meanwhile opening menu's..
But they fixed that more or less with new firmware.

Now with genos2, i have this very regularly while playing with normal midi styles.
And by opening the mixer screen, or lyrics, or anything else, there is a slight hickup.
But clearly audible, even for the audience.

Very annoying.. anyone else has this issue also?
I hope there will be a quick new release of firmware who adresses this..

Looks like the cpu isn't fast enough to handle all...

Any faults found at this stage must be reported to Yamaha. No one on a forum can help at this stage.

Hi a048352,

Do these "hickups" occur on your Genos2 with Preset styles, with self-programmed / User styles or with third-party styles?

In any case, you should report these problems to Yamaha Support.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

For English, you can use this link to contact Yamaha Support:
https://usa.yamaha.com/support/contacts/form.html?page=product

For Dutch, you can use this link to contact Yamaha Support:
https://nl.yamaha.com/nl/support/contacts/index.html

I've used it two times last week (the Dutch entry) and they've answered within one day both times. Be aware that e-mailed answers from Yamaha can end up in your Junk Mail folder. So be sure to check this folder also when expecting an answer.
