I expected a final teaser. So the guy stays behind in the woods. So this was the message that Yamaha sent to the world regarding the new product... the Genos 2.
Did that message come across well? Are expectations too high? Will the changes be improvements and sufficiently convince future interested parties? Will it just be 'wow' or will there be criticism from the disappointed? Will it indeed be a Genos 2 or a Genos version 2.5??
Just a few more hours... and we'll see

In matter of hardware, definitelly is Genos 2. Even if the case is mostly the same, lets see in the past, Tyros 3 and 4 looks almost the same, the differences was indeed with Tyros 2 and Tyros 5. But mostly the same. So ya, Genos 2 is Genos 2, not only Genos version 2.5 

About criticism, of course it will be, no doubt! Probably I'm one of the users which always expects more than they do for the price, for the time we have already wait for...
So, we will see in few hours

If you think about the cost of PAX5 and then the Genos 2 the answer will be plain to see.
You get what you pay for in my view.
With nearly six years of passing, improvements  are certain i should think.
So if the Genos has seamless switching and better sound, reverbs and different effects,all we can hope for is a better way of Style making and sound editing and loading with more sample space.
Also print that does not wear off the buttons.
Maybe with those encoders it will open up a lot of things.

Given the view count I don't think these teasers even reached 1% of the target market. 99% of the people who will consider buying a Genos 2 will not know of the guy now living in the woods like a hobo who is finding out how hard it is to make a fire & shelter and sitting there looking at his dead Genos 2 after the battery pack died.

Maybe the really big news is that the G2 i equipped with solar panels and good capacity lithium batteries so it will be possible to power up and play it out in the woods or wherever you are?

I have a friend who said that there is a button near main display which connect directly to internet to be able to download packs into keyboard and in the same time it will connect to bank account and take your money  all of them LOL

Yes, I also heard its backwards compatible with the Pa5x....
