Voices in Song mode don’t load insert effects

I'm using cubase as sequencer and sx900 as sound module in sequencer / song mode.
I'm able to select voices in SX900 by  using patch scripts in cubase.
But all voices only have reverb effect , the "special" effects that are specific to certain voices like phaser, chorus, distortion don't get applied with those vices

I believe that sending the program selection is not enough. You must also send a collection of sysex messages to configure the effect on the part.

You can see this if you record a midi file in the keyboard that uses a panel voice, the file starts with the program selection plus the configuration messages.

So the patch script you use needs to include the sysex.

Also remember SX doesn't have enough DSP blocks to give each song part, plus each panel part, it's own DSP. So you can run out as you assign parts.
