Hello, I share with you my little experience to record several tracks of my PSR630 keyboard on an iPad.

I basically wanted to record on an MRS-4 zoom (a 4 digital track on smartmedia that has a midi out socket), it is rather simple even if the bounce function is not easy to implement. But the power cable was cut and after 1 successful recording it must be recognised that it requires a lot of manipulation.
I turned to the Roland vs-840ex that I had bought second-hand for my guitarist son. 4 mono tracks and 2 stereo tracks. Many possibilities but complicated.
And then I said to myself: You're stupid you have an iPad with GarageBand, I look in my things and I come out a small audio interface, a USB hub and my usb-midi cable and I plug it all to my iPad.
And it's a new world. It's simple, it works right away, nothing complicated. In 15 minutes I recorded the song I wanted, the tracks are synchronised. The PSR630 and iPad pair works super well. It makes me a mini home studio

I use a usb hub with top
- a midi cable (USB - MIDI din)
- a simple audio interface (Berhinger uca202)
- The PSR is set to ext.clock on.

This allows me to record the battery part, bass, and accompaniments separately and as many different styles if I want but everything will be synchronised.
