What page? The page in a text file?

If so, for most keyboards, there's a pedal assignment for TextPage+. Not sure about the DGX, but it's worth looking into.

Hi Fred

Thanks for the fast response....  I have successfully connected to the Songbook+ and was hoping that I could use one of the Three foot pedals to turn the pages of the PDF....

For foot pedals connected to the keyboard, that won't work.

You can however, to get midi files to simulate it.

Here is my Next Page midi file:https://1drv.ms/u/s!AsHi9Gh31gfOi48dB9CSMU0PKMsorQ?e=TZ9DFI

To set it up: Settings>Foot pedal>MIDI foot pedal>Freely Configurable ControlChange>if controller 4>changes to 1>execute Jump to next page

You can also get separate bluetooth foot pedals to do the same thing

Fred

Fred,

Your link didn't work for me. I am interested to see how you do it with MIDI.

Happy Happy Happy !!!!!

I received this from Baum Software

Hi Ron,
first of all you should find out, whether the pedal of your DGX is sending always the same controller and value.
If you could set it to specific controller who ,,does not hurt" your playing in a musical way, then it shoul be relstively easy.
Just check, which value is sent while parading your pedal. Therefore I would use the midi monitor which you will find in the ... menu, if no song is opened in SB+.
Then if you know this, you could go to the settings of SB+ => foot pedal => midi foot pedal => freely configurable ControlChange=> and there you may configure it as you want.
Please let me know if it works.
Good luck!

By using the "Songbook+ Midi Monotor", I was able to determine that:
Right Hand Pedal uses Controller 64
Middle Pedal uses Controller 80
Left Hand Pedal ????? could not find any Contoller Numbers

I did not want to change the Sustain Pedal so I choose the middle pedal to turn pages.

To set it up: Settings>Foot pedal>MIDI foot pedal>Freely Configurable ControlChange>80>3>execute Jump to next page

This works for me

Ron,

i use my AirTurn pedal with an iPad Pro, and it was very easy to set up. It is nice to have two pedals so you can advance the pages forwards and backwards.

Fred,

Your link comes up, no video available.

Ron,

If the Airturn is not to your liking, consider the iRig BlueTurn:

https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigblueturn/

It is a little smaller than the Airturn, however.

Is there anyone here using a page turner with their DGX-670 ?   If so, how did you set it up with the DGX-670 ?

Ron,

Wow that is small, not sure I could hit those buttons with my feet without looking, but a good alternative.
