Hi,
Just wondering if is possible on the Yamaha Genos to change the voice (instrument) used in a multipad?
For example, a guitar strum multipad - could I change the type of guitar used or even change it to a banjo?
Thanks,

Mark

Mark,
The only method I know is to pick the multipad editor in the menu and change the MSB-LSB-PROGRAM CHANGE.
It is a very cumbersome/slow procedure that maybe in the future will be simplified.
You need to keep the voice datalist on hand to identify the correct set of numbers.

Hi Mark

It is enough to change the type of sound. Watch the video.

Thank you to both Simone and Casper,
Casper's video demonstrates exactly what Simone is referring to.
Thank you both for your help.

Just select the multi pad set in MP creator. Select a pad within the four shown. Press step edit and just select a voice you want and press it. You will now hear that voice playing. Now go to the top of the page and delete the original voice. Then save.

Hi Paula
I would use a PC and  PadMaker Style. PadMaker Style is a PC program that provides tools for selecting style parts, copying them to a multipad, and editing the voice and other characteristics.  See:
