Hi,

I am looking for a soft case (not hard case) with wheels witch fits exactly a PSR-SX900, no need extra spaces.
Actually this is for a PSR-A5000 which has exactly the same dimension than SX-900.

I would appreciate any recommendation.

Thank you

BogdanH

I think there will be no "fit exactly" case, because soft cases are usually not keyboard type specific. Means, you will need to fill the excessive space with foam or similar damping material -which is a good idea anyway. And if you know someone who has sewing machine, (s)he can make a coat for pads, so it will look like it came with case. ...just thinking aloud here.

If you think that would be acceptable for you, then I think something like this would do:

Thank you Bogdan for the link.
I agree that it's not easy to find the exact fit case.
I just found one for SX-900 but it's in India, Malav YAMAHA PSR-SX900 Synthesizer/Arranger Case Bag.
I will wait sometime and then take a decision.

Thanks for the link.
It looks great but pricey and heavy (24 lbs) for me and beside that it's a Flight Case, convenient when traveling specially by airplane.
I have one of those for my other keyboard when traveling.

I actually needed a soft case, not heavy for weekly gigging and I finally bought the Road Runner Keyboard Porter Bag 61
https://www.guitarcenter.com/Road-Runner/Highway-Series-Padded-Keyboard-Porter-Bag-61-Key-Regular-1436539684954.gc

it's a padded soft case, with wheels and lighter (9.99 lbs).
It's 3 inches longer in length than the keyboard but I filled it up with some foam and the keyboard fits perfect.

Thank you anyway.

Following this post with interest, because the "generic" keyboard cases and travel cases generally on sale are of very poor quality indeed. Personally I'm totally fed up with retailers, some of who claim to be musical retail specialists,  telling me that "hopefully it might just fit" or "it's not made for the SX but should do"......Offering paper thin materials, lousy zips, miniature handles, cheap plastic wheels, zero waterproofing, and all for vastly overpriced amounts. Most of them are complete RUBBISH. As for the garbage on Ebay.....Well just DON'T !

Well sorry guys, but I'm not putting a near £2,000 + instrument into a badly fitting bag, that might or might not get it to its destination in one piece.... and neither would you !!  So trying to sell me one is a complete and utter waste of your and my time. Make and sell a quality product.

I could understand if Yamaha was some little heard of brand.....! I've been looking for almost 12 months, and completely without success. Recently returned from the EU and the situation is just the same over there.

So PLEASE will some manufacturer design a case that FITS the SX, and not expect owners to accept all these shabby compromises. Can't be that difficult surely?

Generic bags are a complete waste of money, and will NOT protect your expensive instrument at all.

I think the lack of fitted bags for SX keyboards is not due to the difficulty, but more likely lack of demand. Just not enough SX owners that transport their keyboard to gigs.
