PSR E473 - How to use Line outputs ?

Can I use the L and R line outputs to feed the L and R inputs on my NAD integrated amplifier ? I want to hear the keyboard through my home stereo speakers. I tried 1/4" to RCA aux cables but I can't get the kb's sound to come out of the stereo. Thanks.
