Does anyone know if you can get voices for the Scottish Bagpipes, I would love to be able to create songs with this instrument. Thanks

The Celtic pack, which is available free for the Tyros 5 and Genos, contains a couple - a solo piper, and a group. They are OK but you need to play them carefully to get the articulation to sound realistic.

Hi cruzzer,

The free Yamaha Celtic Pack is available for a variety of models, including the SX700 (which you probably have):

Peter Schips also offers some free bagpipe packs on his website.

By the way, in order to download these packs, you must first register for free on Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login. Then you put the relevant free pack(s) in the shopping cart / basket (as with the purchase of paid packs) and go to the checkout. You should then receive an email notification after a short time. Then you can download the pack(s) via your customer account at Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.

It takes a lot of time to learn to play the pipes on the keyboard with some degree of accuracy. Keep in mind that you have to contend with that basic bass note, which is usually an "A", and work from there.

Good luck,
