I have only just got a T5 and am learning my way around it at the moment. I have always owned Technics keyboards in the past but now that they are obsolete i have jumped over to Yamaha and i like the sounds.
I know there is a sustain button , but is there a way to adjust the length of sustain on the voices ? I dont seem to find any info in the manual. Thanks.

If you explore the first section of the voice editor/voice set you should find settings for Panel Sustain. You may need to click on a sub menu or second page to find it.

On my Sx900 changing pedal assign from Sustain to Sostenuto holds the sustain very well. Works great for choirs, strings and pads where you need them to hold. Assuming T5 has this kind of setting. Must change back to Sustain for regular instruments like piano.
