Hi

Is it possible to include a user style in the MDF, There does not seem to be an obvious way to do it "on board"

Best wishes

Yes, and the style can be located either in the keyboard's onboard user/expansion area or even on the USB thumb drive.

Select the MFD by pressing the MFD button, then press Record/Edit by pressing the bottom of the #8 button at the bottom of the display.

Next, press the "A" button and provide a name for the song by typing the name using the numbered buttons at the bottom of the display, and OK. (top of the #8 button.

Now, press the "C" button on the left side of the display, and select the style location, preset, user, USB1. Then press the Exit button to return to the editing screen.

Next, set the Tempo, which can easily be adjusted to suit the song. Set the section, Intro and variation. Now you can set the Genre if necessary.

Now, press the top of the #8 button, OK, to save the settings the MFD.

You should get in the habit of backing up the MFD regularly, just to be on the safe side.

Now, if that style file you selected is stored on the USB drive, you must have the USB drive plugged in or the file will not be located when the selection is made on the MFD.

To back up the MFD, select Function, Utility, Music Finder, and tab to the User area, then provide a new name for your MFD.

Hope this helps,
