When I have looked for super high (professional) midi files generally you have to pay for them, there are many sites out on the web where you can get these, however
you can not always get the midi your after.

Tx Del,

I want to use these for creating new BIAB songs just for fun.

Keep well my friend,

Henni

12 NOON (high NOON) 1/31/2022   Henni, Now that I know what you're looking for having just read your request, I know have a few BURIED in 1 of my HDs. kindly go to my profile & send me quick 'e'. Ya know, I've paid for quite a few back in the day--that ws when i was gigging 5+6 nighters. Now, as a retired Cit. on SSI I know that paying 4.95$ a sg is tuff when it comes to everyday life. I'd be happy & glad to share some "ideas" with you my friend. Stay in touch as i don;t usually come here--though i know I really should.
Regards, Don

I've just unearthed my midi collection gathered many years ago from here, there and everywhere it seems. I was trying to find a list of respected sequencers (those people who make good midis, not brands or machines) but I'm not having much luck. Do you have any names to share? I'd be glad to get them.

My collection is large so very mixed, I might have the best of the best among all the rest but sorting through them is a long job. I'm currently eliminating duplicates with Jørgen's MIDI Database (so useful) and I could use the midi info to separate out those with named sequencers, or otherwise have an ID which let's me know they might be good files. I'm hoping that this first clean up will leave me with at least decent files to continue on with.

I enjoy midi and if I gather together some good ones I'm delighted to share, I'll message you.

This website has high-quality midi files, reasonable prices:

My experience has been that midi files are like styles, you have to plough through hundreds to find the few decent gems. And it's just not worth the effort. The alternative is to buy them individually from reputable sites where quality is usually excellent. But you would already know this so I don't think that's of interest.

Hi everyone,

Tx for all the responses. I really appreciate every single feedback.

I very much like to upgrade good midis with BIAB real audio styles. I do this just for fun and also to demonstrate the possibilities with this AMAZING software. I still cannot recommend BIAB enough to anyone. I might soon post another few demo songs that I've created using a combination of midi & BIAB. Also, tx to some of you I've now discovered https://www.onemotion.com/chord-player/ as well as Scaler. I intend to put it to good use with BIAB.

Keep well all my friends,

Henni
