Hi,

I have a style and registration from styles 24 that I am having a problem with transferring from a USB stick to the T4 hard drive.

The instructions say that it will only work if the reg & style are put under the folder styles 24.

Which does not fit with my naming convention. ::)

I have tried loading the reg & style onto the hard drive then re-memorizing the reg and altering the path for the reg and the style using Murry's Reg Manager and another program that allows me to alter the style path in the reg.

However, none of these methods work when using the reg as it does not pick up the style and its variations.

The registrations change the voices correctly but not the style. :'(

The style path in the reg is C:/style/C/Chiquitita.sty.

Does anyone know how to make them work correctly?

Thanks,

Martin

Hi Martin,

The drive letter of the internal Tyros4 hard drive is E:/. In contrast, "C:/" is the Tyros4 User drive.

If I understand you correctly, you have a main folder "style" on the Tyros4 hard drive and in this folder a subfolder "C" in which the style is located. The correct style path that has to be in the Registration is then:
E:/style/C/Chiquitita.sty

By the way, the Registration Bank file (.rgt) works from any location. Only the files linked in the Registrations (e.g. the style) need to be in the file path that is saved in the Registration file.

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

The path you posted is for your PC - Not the arranger keyboard.

Good luck,

Normally you get  .doc files with description how to install. One for internal (drive) use. And one for if you want to use an USB stick.  On  the site of Styles-24 there is also a video and explanation.  Or write an Email to Wolfgang.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. :)

I did get the documentation but it says to use the Style 24 as a folder which does not fit in why my naming scheme.

So I have changed the path and it all appears to work fine now. :D
