Hi Guys  :

I would like to know how to extract Styles from S. Packs, plse ?
Where to find these Packs and ...how to unpack/extract
these styles ?

Or ... are all these styles already extracted/unpacked
( for the SX 900 )  ?

If so ... where to be found  ?

Thank you so much for helping me out.🌞🌞🌞

Best regards, JH

Hi Jeff.
Here you'll find the european Yamaha site for download all paks that's been given us so far:
https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/contents/keyboards/vse/index.html
Just choose your preferred keyboard in dropdownmenu.

to unpack/extract these styles ?

I think that after installing just a copy/paste to "user styles" part of internal memory is enough...
To be honest, I never try this procedure, but as far as I remember I read this information here on another threat...

The only problem is that sometimes, sounds of style parts, maybe come out of the expansion pack so then if you un-install the expansion pack, maybe the style doesn't sound as expecting.
You can always replace this sounds (re voicing) using sounds from internal memory (ROM sounds) this replacing procedure is not always successful.

I have seen the Casper video how to extract the styles from an expansion pack. :)
Many thanks, Casper. Now I know how to operate. ;)

Thank you so much, GJ !
I have downloaded almost all of these packs.

I have the impression Yamaha will end the expansion packs for future arranger keyboards.
Maybe they will be made by a third party.
Time will tell what will happen, I guess.

Hello Gentlemens  ;D
I have a T4 and all the styles from Gunnar Jonny's link are saved in the cpf file.
So how do I extract the styles from the cpf.
I would like to add that I use the style extraction program but only from ppi / ppf files (StyleExtractor.exe).
Or maybe someone has already distinguished these styles in a different way?
I would like to use them. You could put them in the section: charter files.

IMHO only with YEM one can extract the styles from an expansion
pack. But only experts can confirm my words. Cross my fingers.

Not all styles have been extracted yet, I guess.

It is my plan to extract some packs. Hope I can handle this job. :D

Once a pack has been extracted it might be my intention to share these styles with members of this forum, only if my work will be successful though.🤭

Best wishes, JH

From this link you can download extract Styles from all Free Packs.
The Packs are for Genos and you need to customize some sounds that do not exist in your keyboard.

I'm glad I can help. And thank you for the wonderful music and videos you make.
A great Revo Cleaner program will help you adjust the drum. You can download it from the website of Jørgen Sørensen.

Hi all,
Yamaha donated a lot of quality material, it was a big surprise for all of us. Below the videos on my channel where Demo Packs play, I posted a list of everything in them. I am putting a link to this topic as well, it is good to have an overview of the entire material.

Thank you very much, Casper.

For your information : I am a dedicated watcher of
your YouTube video's.

Your video's are one of the best keyboard tools ever.
I am sure most Yamaha keyboard owners do agree with me.

Bye for now, JH

Hi
Styles from ppi format packs and from yep format packs can be extracted by my "styles in yep/ppi files" software found at http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software/yep/index.htm
