Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of building a sound archive for the DJXII keyboard.
I'm trying very hard to get hold of the midi files posted on the now defunct yamahadjx.com but no luck so far...
Here's a link from the wayback machine:
https://web.archive.org/web/20010423024221fw_/http://www.yamahadjx.com/english/download/s_data.htm
Ireally  appreciate the work done by the archive.org team, but unfortunatelly the links to the actual midis don't work.

If any of the forum members happen to have them stored in a remote corner of a hard drive, can you please share them ?

Thanks,
Marius

Hello Marius --

These patterns are hard to run down! (Links below.)

I've been converting the patterns to PSR DJ styles. It takes a fair bit of effort because the DJX-II drum kits are mostly incompatible with the current PSR series arrangers.

All the best -- pj

PJ,
Thank you very much for the links.
I've no idea how you found them, but I'm verry happy you did :)
I'm no novice in google-fu, but obviously you're a Black Belt in this art.

Hi Marius,

the two files can be found as follows:

Yamaha home page > Support > Documents and Data > Keyboard Instruments > search for "pattern"
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/support/docs_data/index.html?l=en&c=keyboards&k=pattern

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Hello Marius --

Thanks for the kind words, but I had an advantage -- I knew the file names. So, I searched on "patternData_internal.zip". I was hoping to find a Yamaha site since I didn't want to distribute the files myself and maybe run afoul of Yamaha.

Have fun!

Now that you mention it, it looks obvious :)
I only tried searches for the actual midi file names.
Quite a few of them...

Thanks again, time to examine those damn elusive files.
