I have MP3's loaded in my 900. How can I associate the correct registration (set up)with the the selected mp3?

Just memorize it. Same as you do to memorize anything else in a registration.

You need to make sure "Audio Song" is selected when saving the registration. Also, you will need to keep the MP3's on the same location once you have stored them in registrations (I always copy them to internal memory first so that I do not have to worry about which USB stick is in the keyboard).
