Where I can find a woman voice and a beautiful guitar voice for my per s770?

johan

Did you already take a look at the Italy V2 pack (free download at Yamaha). It works very well on SX700 (not sure for S770) and has some nice female voices and guitars.

Go to the Yamaha download site and you will see all packs available.

If you type 'Yamaha Expansion Manager' into your search engine there are numerous articles and videos on what it does, how to instal and use it etc. Some from Yamaha , some from 3rd parties.

Hi rock123456789,

if you want to install Expansion Content on your PSR-S770, you should first familiarize yourself with the YEM technology, as Mike suggested. Here are some important notes about this:

- Make sure the latest Firmware Update (V1.06) is installed on your PSR-S770.

- Download and install YEM V2.7.0 (available for Windows 10/8.1 or Mac). If you still have Windows 7, you need to use YEM V2.6.0. (Do NOT use YEM V2.8.0 as this version is still buggy!)

- Download also the YEM Owner's Manual.

>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/psr-s770/downloads.html

- Export the Instrument Info file (.n27) of the S770 to a USB stick, connect the stick to the computer and import the Instrument Info file into YEM (using the "+" sign next to "Install Target").

Here you can download all many free Yamaha Expansion Packs (select "PSR-S770" via the drop-down box "Your model" to see only compatible Packs):
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/contents/keyboards/vse/index.html

Note: Tyros3/4 Custom Voices (.UVN) can NOT be imported as "Pack" into YEM. So you have to do the following:

- Create a new, empty Pack in YEM (use "My Packs > Create Pack). Click on the new Pack to change its name if desired.

- Be sure the new Pack is selected now.

- Click on the "+" sign in the lower window and select "Import Content". Then select the desired .UVN Voice and click OK to import it into your new Pack. (You can also just drag the .UVN file into the lower window with the mouse.)

- Click on your "Install Target" (PSR-S770), select all Packs you want to install on the keyboard.

- Click on "Save as Pack Install File" to save your Pack Install file on the connected USB stick. (The file type is .ppi when no protected Pack is involved. If at least one protected Pack (.cpf) is involved, the file type of the Pack Install file is .cpi.)

- Connect the USB stick to the keyboard and start the Pack Installation.

- Please read also the section "Adding New Contents—Expansion Packs" in the S770 Reference Manual, from page 22.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
