Hi Hoxuthi
you could try to reinstall the latest firmware...

Last Year I had a problem with the sx900 that getting stuck on the logo, I could only turn it off.
I installed its latest firmware and it resumed operation. Try it as a last resort ... and good luck.

Hi hoxuthi,

• I suggest to try first a normal System Reset (already mentioned by tyros5psr): Press and hold the right-most white key (C6) while powering on the S970.

•  If this doesn't help try re-installing the latest firmware first (already mentioned by Aquilauno):
>>> Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

Please refer to the "Firmware Installation Guide" that you can download here:
>>> Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

If you are successful with this method, this has the advantage that your system settings and the content of the user drive are retained.

• If this doesn't help either, i.e. the error still occurs, I recommend trying to perform a Factory Reset using the internal Test Program:

- Download the S770/S970 Service Manual and open the PDF on your computer:
>>> https://psrtutorial.com/lessons/workshops/ServiceManuals.html

- Read pages 38 & 39 of the Service Manual and try to start up the Test Mode. (There are two different methods to do this. So if the method 1 fails, try method 2.)

- If the Test Mode can be started successfully, execute Test item "081 : Factory Set", then execute Test item "083 : Test Exit".

- Then restart the S970 and wait unil the "Force Format" procedure is completely finished. If you're lucky, the S970 will start normally again.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
