S975 Firmware update from 1.00 to 1.01

I have S970 and have had no problem in locating, downloading and upgrading firmware on it over the years. A friend of mine has S975 with 1.00 Firmware and asked for my help to upgrade it to 1.01. I have exhaustively searched all Yamaha sites but could not find version 1.01 firmware for S975. Can any one on this forum help?

Hi Ash,

the S975 was launched in 2018, and, as far as I know, the original firmware version already was V1.01.

Maybe your friend has one of the "very first" S975 devices (which may have been given to a Yamaha demonstrator before the official launch).

If the version really is V1.00, I recommend your friend to contact Yamaha Support directly and ask for the updater to V1.01.

Thank you for the information - We will pursue it with Yamaha.
The firmware is indeed at version 1.00!
