I found the map easily on this Forum  about 8 months ago, but I can't find it now. Does it still exist? I think it is an excellent idea , and like the fact that it is voluntary, and that members can probably  remove their names from the list should they wish to do so.

As I recall, the reason the map was discontinued was because the provider of this service was going to begin charging a fee, whereas the service was originally free.

Yes, that was it :) It would have been nice though, having some way to connect people that livi in the same area. A board maybe?

I understand the security concerns to a point.  Before Lowrey closed their doors a year ago, they had what they call Home Organ Holiday, HOH, where Earlier several hundred players would get together someplace in the country for three day workshops and performances.   It was GREAT and I really miss the Lowrey HOH and can only imagine a Yamaha equivalent event to get together.   Has there been any interest in  some kind of forum geographically where Yamaha players could get together......not only for the joy in hearing performances but for workshops to learn about the many features that the system offers.

Just a thought....I really enjoy the Yamaha and miss doing gigs with the sheltering.

Thanks.......Bob
