Playlist

Can anyone provide some more clarity as to how to use the playlist function on the sx900 and what advantage it gives, From what i understand is that basically i can create a registration bank for each song (Using the 8 slots as different ways of playing the song or as a arrangement, meaning going in a order, like a buildup) and then put it into the playlist and create a playlist of the song's (meaning registration banks) i want to be in one category/playlist?

Hi .Shuey...sounds to me you are getting playlist and registration sequence function confused here....well from your reply to Fred
Playlist is simply a list of registration banks which you can create like a library for different genres or maybe a gig list etc.
It is really no more than a 'list' IMHO
If you want to play ( or switch up as you say )
from different registrations within a bank of registrations then you will need to use the registration sequence function ...which is a different thing altogether ...
Hard to describe the two in detail here ....but the ref. manual will help I am sure and if you need any finer points ...I for one will maybe be able to help ...

Ps...the other function playlist has is the ability to provide a conversion destination for music finder files from PSR/tyros.   When these files are converted on to the SX it creates a playlist of all the old records along with a registration bank for each ...

If you save a sequence into your registrations you are saving to play list they will work fine, just remember to switch the sequence on and your pedal will work as it should.

There are Up and Down buttons in the Playlist screen that allow you to move records around.
