dressing up the back of the keyboard

Does anyone have any ideas for me on how to dress up the back of my keyboard? I use my Tyros 5  with my band when we gig. I face the audience so consequently my keyboard backside faces the audience. There is a lot of clutter with cords, stands and pedals which is not that pleasing to look at. If anyone has some ideas, patterns, etc. that they would share with me, I would be grateful. I am sure there are others who have addressed this situation. Thank you. I have always found so many helpful tips on this forum.

I have a large piece of cardboard that I use to hide the mess. Lots of room for a poster.

I have a piece of black fabric which I drape in front of the keyboard.
After I connect and situate all the wiring I then drape the top 6 inches of the sheet onto my keyboard stand and sit the keyboard on it to hold it in place - it only takes a minute or so.
The only thing that then shows is the tops of the wiring where they connect to the keyboard, so you have access to them.
If you want it more secure maybe you could use elastics to hold it in place.

When I am at home I use the same sheet as a dust cover for the keyboard... :)

I solved this problem many years ago when I designed my Custom Console, which also serves as a PC/monitor platform, lights the keyboard in dark situations, plus has an illuminated sign in front. The console contains nearly all the wires, power supplies, surge protector, vocal harmony processor, and makes setting up a breeze. My setup time was just 7 minutes at most. And, if I were in a hurry, I could do it in less than 5 minutes.

Good luck,

Toril, that photo was taken while on the job at a major Diamond Center in Maryland, USA where they also sell lots of other items, including very nice clocks. Those are the ladies that work there. I performed there once a year during the month of December for more than 15 years. I loved that job. :)

Hi Chirp,
I use a vinyl banner from Vista Print. (You can usually get them on sale for less than $10) I attach a piece of wood lath to the top and bottom using double sided mounting tape. Then I use industrial rated Velcro to attach it to my stand. I have a number of these banners for different occasions and seasons.
I've attached a photo showing my setup. I couldn't figure out how to just paste it here.

Hi Chirp.
I have a "Banner" sign which you pull up and retract down. It has my name, Contact details etc. Well worth the money. You'll need to measure the height of  the base of your keyboard to the floor. The banner fits into a carry case and is lightweight.Try your local sign printers.
Cheers

Very attractive banner, John. Looks expensive, though. Was it printed on cloth or paper?vista Print  is a good source for all kinds of neat stuff and the prices are usually very good. https://www.vistaprint.com/signs-posters/vinyl-banners?xnav=swsProductOnly_ResultTitle

Hi Gary.
Thank you.The banner with the design printed was around £45.
Not sure what it is made from, Feels like it could be a strong vinyl. Sorry I have removed it from here but I felt it showed to much info for the site? If it is not likely to cause any problems, I will repost the image.

I have just ordered a sign from Vista Print should have it in time for our next gig. Thanks to all of your replies
