Thank you all for your help,  I have tried using Lightworks, it's okay but I cant do some tasks easy.  Here is my first video,  I recorded the sound and motion separate and added them in the program, this is my version of tonight.  I have registration 2 set up to stop the rhythm normally so I can add some slow expressed parts, but in Rec Midi, the stop feature don't work as it should, I stumbled i playing a bit here . .

You better use the audio out from the keyboard to the line in on the computer
You can make your recording in once video and audio
Also put a lamp above the keybord gives a better image
And use a camera or webcam with high resolutie

Thank you for your comments.  I use MIDI recording, and them make it in to a WAV file, then add to the video in a software package.  I need to get some cable and try your method.  What do you record to in the Computer please?

I record the video and audio together
All video editors has also audio recording
You have to use a usb cam camera connetect to your computer
or the output off a stand alone camera to an usb video capture interface
connect the RGB uitgang from the camera to the usb capture interface RGB input
connect the keyboard line out to the line in on the computer
or to the input on the usb video audio interface yellow for video, white and red for stereo audio
select in the video app the video input and the audio input  for recording

Hi Colin,
nice playing but unfortunately there is a distortion with the sound.

Even if you record on Genos the way you do, this distortion cannot not caused by the "bad" midi or wav recording of the keyboard.
From what i  can listen, have you used a compressor really heavily?
If the sound frequencies for example should distributed between the points A B C D E,
what you have done is make all the sounds be heard only at the specific C point(center) and nowhere else.
So a single little point at the center of the speakers is having all the sounds together.
This could causes a distortion along maybe with a little higher level of volume recording and too much bass of the EQ settings.

Do you need a video capture card to do this, and does it connect to the Genos L/R output with a cable,  Does the Genos mix L/R together and output on this connector??
