What do you mean? There is no defect in the PSR 975, but the 900 is newer, so therefore more expensive.

The SX series  has the latest technology and three right hand voices plus touch screen and is good value for the money. In the UK it is around £1600.

I think this time yamaha was concerned with the final price of its keyboards, all over the world, and did it on the SX line. Our concern here in Brazil was the price that the SX models were going to get here in Brazil, but to my surprise, for the first time, it came with a very reasonable price, compared to the latest launches, 70/75 lines. Some fellow musicians did not like the SX, due to the fact that it has a touch screen and the absence of some physical buttons (buttons 1-8, buttons A-J), such as the fade in / out button, which the s975 has and the sx900 does not. Even though I explained that they could use an assignable button for this, they were still upset. A friend complained about the final finish of the SX. I think that for this, and other reasons, the prices of the s75 and SX are similar. I want to congratulate Yamaha for the pricing policy that it has carried out with the SX line. For those who still prefer physical buttons, continue with your s975 / 775 or buy the last ones that are still on store shelves, as we are living through a change of ages.

Here in Norway the SX 900 is rather expensive , 24000 NOK! The 975 was sbout 17000 NOK. My store does not have it yet, and I never buy a keyboard untried, so I will try it when available and then decide. My S975 does its job well.

Our Toril, it's really expensive! But in a while prices will fall, for sure.
