Lets just say you have 30 Registration banks of song files, Latin, Rock, Ballads etc,etc,....
using 1 reg for each song so approx 8 songs in a file folder.......

ok Can you load & create  ALL OF THE SONGS from ALL OF THE FOLDERS into the PLAYLIST
so you can SCROLL thru all songs  as a list in alphabetical order somehow
instead of having to go into the folders and pages to find songs?

any help appreciated

The answer is yes you can.

First, you can have several playlists. So just create one in the (alphabetical) order you want.

Second, a folder is a collection of files. You can have up to 2500 files in a folder.

What you are calling a folder is a single registration file, which contains 8 registrations. Yamaha refers to this file as a registration BANK.

Thank you Fred for the reply....

To be clear....all I want to do is put ALL my songs from all reg banks in ONE PLAYLIST
so I can scroll thru them for A-Z....then select it and play on Sx900....?

secondly will all my GENOS Reg song setups and styles once loaded into the Sx900
work properly as they did on Genos or does more have to be done

I would use the search option myself .you can use this in reg, style, or playlist screen . Handy in style as well I find as some of my user styles are song titled.
