moshe israeli. Suggestion...You could have added your other additional comments to your first post rather than making 4 separate inputs.

Hi moshe israeli,

Tyros3 does NOT support any Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) USB Adapter.

Tyros3 has a LAN terminal (RJ-45 socket), but this terminal is completely useless these days. This terminal could only be used for "Internet Direct Connection" (IDC) to specific Yamaha websites. But Yamaha closed these sites completely some time ago.

The IDC function is described in Tyros3 Reference Manual (V1.12) on pages 99 - 101:

https://usa.yamaha.com/support/manuals/index.html?l=en&c=keyboards&k=tyros3

Best regards,
Chris

Thank you, Graham.  :)

I've edited Moshe's first post, so he can see how to accomplish this in the future.

Hi moshe israeli,

YES, your are right here. I had completely forgotten that yamaha in the latest Tyros3 firmware (V1.20) had added a support for USB Wireless LAN adapter. ;)

BUT as mentioned before: Yamaha has CLOSED these specific websites that could be accessed by integrated browsers of some keyboards (such as Tyros3/Tyros4). There are no more download shop pages that could be accessed directly from the keyboard browser, and the "Music Finder +" service has also been discontinued.

Therefore, even if you would find a USB stick that works with the Tyros3, you could not do anything with it in my opinion.

P.S.
I still remember that I had used a "HAMA" USB wireless LAN adapter on my Tyros4, but I do not remember the exact type.

P.P.S.
Here are old IDC websites that are still online, but the IDC services, to my knowledge, are all closed now:

Edit:
I just found a "Tyros3 Compatible USB Device List" (As of January 2014) on my PC hard disk. There are 25 compatible USB Wireless LAN adapters listed. (See attached file.) :)

Best regards,
Chris
