Audio file in Multipad section ?

Hi :

Some Yamaha arranger keyboard demonstrators on Youtube are " importing " an audio file ( in the multipad section ? ) and add this audio file to their song while they are playing.

I would be very grateful if one of you is willing to explain - step by step - how to create and to proceed with " these so called multipads ".
