Both my Pa systems have Bluetooth capabilities ...
was wondering how the signal and sound sync together playing together
using the sx900..?

There is always a chance of latency ( ie micro sound delay) with Bluetooth. This is not noticeable when replaying MP3s or midis but can be problematic in live playing. I believe people have already found this can happen with Bluetooth earphones.

have not tried - as didnt work for me on both previous keyboards
I got a delay, will stick with had wired myself
i suppose it depends on what PA you are using but mine are not good with wireless.

A delay is what I thought also....it was just a thought I have no problem plugging it in.....
BTW does the new SX900 still use a AC adapter or not?

reya

Yes, it comes with an adapter

yes, and i cant really understand why so many people have such an issue with this.
To me its no big deal and can be changed easily if you have an issue with it ( hardly expensive ) , unlike an internal problem.+ its got to make the board lighter if this kit is not on board... but what do I know ?? i am not technical ....i just 'play'

The PSR-SX900 is not capable of TRANSMITTING bluetooth audio to another device (like a speaker or headphones).  It can only RECEIVE bluetooth audio from another device (like a tablet or smartphone).  See Page 104 of the PSR-SX900 Owners Manual:

"Bluetooth headphones or speakers
cannot be paired."

So, forget trying to pair the PSR-SX900 with any bluetooth PA speakers - you can't do it.

Hi.

1) Can you Bluetooth your board to a PA system? - Yes using an analogue to Bluetooth adaptor. Is it a good idea? - no as the delay can be quite lengthy making it almost unplayable.

2) Does it use a power adaptor? Yes - It is the PA300C as used on previous PSR S models. I find this helpful as I sometimes play outdoors or whilst away in our RV when I run my 970 from a 12 volt supply converted to 16 volt in place of the mains to 16v PA300C.
