I just want to share that I have finally done something I've been thinking about for a long time: record the settings I use at each venue I play.

On my S975, I've a few settings (Master EQ, Compression, Gain) I tweak at each venue to get the best sound I can. I've finally begun keeping very brief notes for each venue. Those settings are my starting setups for next visit, and I might further refine them next time. I kick myself for not doing this sooner. It sure simplifies things at sound check and helps minimize frantic tweaking while playing the first song or two.

I keep my notes on the Notes app on my iPhone which automatically sends copies to my iCloud account as a backup.

Would like to know what other players have done in this regard.

The EQing, Compression, Gain etc has become very complicated on the newer keyboards, you can fiddle about for ages and still not get it where you want it, remember the S900/910, it was so easy, 5 band eq,

My friend keeps all the EQing on the keyboard to zero, he has a small mixer on top of the keyboard speaker where he can adjust the levers, treble/bass reverb etc on the fly.

Easier than having to dig into the keyboard but one extra bit of kit to a carry around.

Why nor store the settings n a registration? Name it after the name of the venue.
