I find the onboard piano voice of the Tyros 5 , to be gentle, not very good, tinnie, blikkerig (the dutchies will know what I mean)
Has anyone got a great piano voice that they are willing to share?

Thanks,

Ton

Hi Ton,

there are many possibilities to tweak the Preset Piano voices of the Tyros5:

In the Voice Set and Mixing Console you can make a lot of edits (e. g. Touch Sense Depth/Offset, Amp EG (Attack, Decay, Release), Filter (Cutoff/Harmonics), Part EQ, System Effects and/or Insert Effects like Reverb and/or EQ/Compression).

In addition, there are many commercial and also many FREE Piano Expansion Voices in .PPF or .UVN format (for use with YEM). Have a look here:

Here is a free Steinway Grand Piano voice in .UVN format (# 23 in the list):

Hope this helps!
