Is it possible to ad vocals to an already recorded tune ? Tyros 5 in my case.

Yes you can. The procedure is covered on pages starting on 78 of the reference manual. If the file is an MP3 that you want to combine you will need to follow the procedure on page 80 to convert it to an .aud file.
You can also do this on the computer using Audacity. Sometimes you need to adjust the timing in combining audio files. It can be a bit tricky because singers may not be as precise in their timing. IN this situation I have actually sliced the audio track to fit pieces into the appropriate slots.

No you do not have the same capability as the T5 but you can do a similar function using Audacity.
