Can Yamaha Premium Packs be installed on S975 through YEM?

Hi All,

Can Yamaha Premium Packs be installed on S975 through YEM? I see the packs are listed on Tyros/Genos models on Yamaha Website.

Wondering if the Premium packs are compatible or not with my S975.

Please advice, Thanks in advance.

Yamaha do produce packs for the 970 but some Genos packs may load but they will probably be larger and the styles may not sound good.

If they use Super Articulation 2 then they will not work properly.

Looks like I'll have to purchase a package (hoping) it will work with my S975.

If some voices or styles are not working, i can live with that.

My concern is the package may not be compatible with the S975 at all, so nothing may work.

Does this concern make sense?

Just tried it today, Genos version works like charm on the S975

I've tried the "Premium Middle Eastern" Pack.

I've also tried the Country Musician, Choir & Vocals, Euro&US Organ, Schlager Party, Studio Singers, Easy Listening. They all work great with the S975.
