Although there may not be a perfect setting,  which one in theory, would produce the cleanest sound for bass frequencies.  I believe my s670 defaults to 120-140hz
depending on the type of EQ setting being used.  In my home audio system, my Subwoofer's crossover is set at 80hz. and produces the cleanest sound to my ears.  In general, do our keyboards EQ work virtually in the same manner?  Hope the question makes sense as I 'm just trying to make more senses of the Master EQ settings.

One way to think about EQ, is to translate the frequencies to musical notes.

Consider bass guitar, for example. The lowest note (standard tuning) is E2 at 82.4Hz.

From there, one needs to boost or cut frequencies depending on the musical goal. BTW, one way to boost the perception of a frequency is to cut all of the other frequency bands.

Hope this helps -- pj
