Can I disable preset link between style and multipad?

Hello friends:
The keyboard (T5) selects multipads for every style. But I din't like the preset choices, and choose another pad and play a song with it. So far, so good. But when I play the song again, the MP that was linked to the style jumps back! I know I can select multipads and then save the style as a user style, but I wonder if there is another method to stop the keyboard from doing this automatically, or if I can go into the settings and make it choose differently? I suspect not, but had to ask, since members often find workarounds.

Hi Toril,

when you call up a OTS of a particular Preset Style, also a Multi Pad is called up automatically. To avoid to call up OTS automatically when changing the Main Variations of a Style, be sure to switch OFF the [OTS LINK] button.

You can make your own settings (Keyboard Voices and a Multi Pad) and memorize these settings to an OTS button. After you have made your settings to all OTS buttons (1 - 4) you have to save the STYLE as a User Style, because OTS data is part of the STYLE data.

The most simple way, of course, is NOT to use the Preset OTS but work only with Registrations. If you want to memorize also the current Multi Pad to a Registration, be sure to have checked the "MULTI PAD" box after pressing the [Memory] button.
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
