Here are some Technics KN7000 styles I tweaked some time ago.  They should work on Tyros/PSR.  Merry Christmas.

tomtomsf,   I see you're still around.  These are styles that you converted it seems to me.  At least I'm certain I got them from you.  It's been a few years ago.  These are just my tweaks to the great conversions you got out at the time.

Hi Scott

Still here!  ;)
They could be ones that I converted and you tweaked.
There have been so many over the years, it's hard to remember.  :)

Hi Scott
I'm very impressed with the 80 odd styles which you have converted from the Technics files, in many respects quite different to similar Yamaha versions.
Have just been playing a few of my old favourites, using these styles, with quite different results to my normal rendering, most impressive!

However something I am not quite clear on is this.
There appears to be several styles listed which supposedly have different variations, Eg Slow Foxtrot.Slak7  6 versions.
All of the 6 versions sound the same on my CVP605 and none of them have OTS.
Has something been lost in the conversion, such that my machine won't respond to it? or am I missing something?

Having said that,  I assumed that they would all play on the CVP series, maybe I've got it wrong?

A Happy new year to all our Members.

Hi  Kenneve

Originally there were some that had a few different versions.  But, I noticed I accidentally sent the wrong file.  You are still getting all the ones I had originally intended, but in trying to zip it it recopied some of each.  So,  just ignore the extra ones which are probably labeled with a 2 or 3 or something like that at the end.  Sorry for the confusion.

Is possible to have the complete preset styles from technics7000?

Oops. In checking it looks like I messed up the folder of Technics styles somehow. The one originally posted had 84 files which is three times as many files as I tried to post. Somehow there were copies of copies. So, here are the 28 KN7000 styles I meant to send. They are jazz and swing styles. There are also a few KN3000 styles here. Hope I got it right this time.

Thanks Scott for the KN7000 files. I almost bought one back in the day but the price was a bit high for me at the time.

I bought a PA from a couple of elderly guys who were doing a duo but were in the process of down sizing to semi retirement from gigging. One of them had a KN7000 and the other played guitar. I was very impressed with the KN at the time as far as sounds and functions available and it would be interesting now to compare to the Genos. The KN was the best in its day and way ahead of the competition.

Thanks for those Styles Scott.

I used to have a KN5000 which was also ahead of the competition at the time, particularly with regards to editing.

I'm looking forward to trying your conversions.

Best wishes,
Richard.

I really love those styles, Scott!
My song Rainy Night was made with one of them :)
Thanks again!

I'm glad to see so many people downloading and enjoying these styles.

Toril:  Glad you enjoy them.  Your Rainy Night song sounded good with that style, for sure.  :)

I worked with technics keyboards for about 12 years and in my humble opinion they were the absolute best in terms of editing everything - voices, styles, sequencer, MSPs. So easy to find your way around and user friendly.
Now the editing styles is not so flexible.

Hey KeyPlayer. I agree with you. I also had for many, many years  Technics Keyboard. And Also the flexibility to change your main screen to the subjects you want in it.
